Hidden among the hills of Carmel Valley, Semrow Pets is a private wellness residency created for those who believe a dog's later years should be the most peaceful, enriching, and well-supported of all. Reserved for just thirty families and available exclusively by application and referral, Residency offers a way of life centered on comfort, nature, and the quiet rhythms of growing older well.
Every Residency Stay follows the Semrow Method™—a founder-developed philosophy integrating species-appropriate nutrition, biologically appropriate daily rhythms, purposeful movement, social connection, nature, and advanced wellness technologies to support comfort, mobility, and healthy aging. Rather than expecting dogs to adapt to a schedule, the environment has been intentionally designed around the biological rhythms and needs of aging dogs.
Because every member returns to the same familiar environment, companions, and wellness philosophy, each stay builds upon the last. That continuity fosters confidence, reduces stress, strengthens social bonds, and creates a lasting sense of belonging that supports emotional well-being throughout the senior years.

At the heart of Residency is the Semrow Pets Wellness Studio—a private environment where wellness is woven quietly into everyday life. Open, peaceful, and free from the confinement of traditional kennels, the Studio invites dogs to spend their days as they naturally would: moving, resting, exploring, observing, and choosing comfort on their own terms.
Every element serves a purpose. Natural light, thoughtfully controlled sound, purified air, biologically aligned daily rhythms, carefully curated materials, and spaces designed for both companionship and quiet retreat work together to create an environment that gently supports comfort, mobility, and overall well-being without ever demanding attention.

THE SEMROW PETS RESIDENCY
Mornings begin with biologically appropriate meals, fresh bone broth, and the quiet pleasures of estate life. There are scents to follow, grounds to explore, familiar companions to enjoy, and California sunshine to soak in from a private English courtyard. The day moves between outdoor walkabouts, foraging, sensory discoveries, and moments of pure relaxation.
Inside, the kennel-free Wellness Studio offers a different pace. Orthopedic bedding, soft sound immersion, grounding, and access to PEMF and red light create a setting for quieter moments between the day's adventures. Cognitive enrichment, physical activity, a dedicated chew bar, and nourishing snacks round out the experience, with remineralized reverse osmosis water available throughout the day.
Every day includes the full Semrow Pets experience, from meals and enrichment to wellness amenities, a weight and body condition check-in, and a departure bath. All are included in the daily Residency rate.
For members, there is comfort in knowing their dogs are somewhere exceptional. For their dogs, there is an entirely different way to spend the day—and a familiar place to return to.
